The Leaky Bible: True Miracle or a Slick Sensation? The leaky Bible that emits mineral oil came to California and I promised to go and check it out if it showed up anywhere near me. It did, and so I went. Here is my report of what I witnessed and my final thoughts on the matter.

Don't Be Bamboozled By A "Bamboo Season"A "bamboo season" or a bamboozled congregation? Some sermons should never be preached. Walk away from the notes, have a cup of coffee, come back and read it again and be willing to trash it if it's that bad. This one is...But he preached it anyway.
Preaching the Middle Finger?Mega church topical series in the 21st century. I guess nothing is off the table anymore. I'm seeing less and less expository preaching where in the message main points are coming from the text being preached while highlighting the major doctrinal truths found in the text. The ultimate goal is seeing where Christ is the final fulfillment of the big picture of God's word.

Preaching Pup Tents and Puzzle PiecesIt's become an art form, really. Take a few passages from the Bible and then say anything you feel like. In this sermon we hear of pup tents and puzzle pieces, the church as canvas and the things that come from an "anointed" church as vastness. The old fashioned, stogy and boring expositional style of preaching God's word is so 1900's. Now you have to keep the audience entertained and awake by using esoteric metaphors and making it all about them.
Preacher of the Word, or Stand up Comic?A preacher of the Word of God is to study the text and explain it in a way that reflects what the text actually says. Sadly, many mega churches have abandoned this God glorifying endeavor for a more entertaining strategy. Take a look.
It's a Blunder-Filled Christmas SermonWonder-filled or blunder-filled? The real story of Christmas which is all about God invading his creation in time and space history to save a people from their sins. It is so wonderful, so intriguing, so captivating that a pastor has to try really hard to goof it up. Yet amazingly, it happens with alarming regularity.
The Final Judgment or Judgments? Is there a coming final judgment or are there multiple judgments for different people at different times? Some teach of a "Bema" judgment that is only for Christians who are taken in the rapture just before a literal 7 years of tribulation on the earth. Others teach that there is only one final judgment for all people who have ever lived at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Here is my take on the subject.
A Parody of Professional Prosperity PersonalitiesOh, to finally make the professional prosperity big leagues and be up there with the likes of Osteen, DuPlantis and Copland, wouln't that be grand? Well, pastor RayGene Wilson of West Coast Life Church seems to think so. The problem is, as with so many other "mash up's", they are rarely better than the parts of their sum.
Thanks to an astute viewer I was alerted to the fact that at 5:40 I say Romans 15 when I should have continued to say 1 Corinthians 15. Apologies for that.

An Oil Dripping Bible or a Stain on the Gospel?A bible that drips oil. So much oil that it has to be kept in a plastic vat. People clamber for this "supernatural" oil that is handed out in small vials. Is this an end times move of God or is it just another distraction of the enemy in an attempt to place a stain on the true gospel?
Once Saved Always Saved? Well, It Depends. The slogan: once saved, always saved is right, depending on the meaning one attaches to it. Certainly all true Christians will be saved in the end. But that raises a question: How do you know if you are a true Christian?

A Personal Plea From BezelT3Hi Guys,
My daughter Reesa (who has no clue I'm doing this) has joined the victims who have lost their homes to the Woolsey Fire in Southern California. She is a high school dance teacher in Los Angeles. Her students found out what happened to her and her husband and started a "gofundme" page to help them out. I thought some of you would like to know. Here is the link to the gofundme site.
Also, I did a video on Reesa a while back dealing with her R.A.

A heartfelt thanks to all my subscribers!
God bless you all,
