The “Free Grace” movement (especially as promoted by the late Zane Hodges) claims that we should not include a call to repentance from sin in our gospel presentations, and we should not tell people that genuine faith will always produce good works in a person’s life, because these things add “works” to the gospel. This session will explain how the Free Grace movement (1) misunderstands the classic Reformation principle of “justification by faith alone,” (2) weakens the gospel message as taught in the New Testament, (3) gives false assurance of salvation to many unconverted people, (4) adopts numerous highly unlikely interpretations of the New Testament, and (5) overemphasizes mental assent to propositions while under emphasizing heartfelt trust in the living person of Jesus Christ.

I recommend you check out the gospel according to Jesus Christ by John MacArthur and Final Destiny by Joseph Dillow for further reading.
Lordship vs Free Grace Animated Comparison
James 2:14-26 Animated InterpretationBased on the context and purpose, I believe this is the best interpretation of James 2. I don't follow a specific system or purpose, but I've learned my hermeneutics from Henry Virkler, David Allen Black, Bock, D.A. Carson, and Chris Cone.
Let me know below if there is a reason why you would interpreter differently.
Can a Christian lose his salvation? Hebrews Animated InterpretationHebrews Animated Interpretation
You want to hold to all 5 points of Calvinism do you? Great! you are young, reformed and restless. The 5th point which is perseverance of the Saints is highly debated, and I think should be questioned. Many people run to two passages in Hebrews to try and prove Perseverance. Let’s how Hebrews and these passages should be interpreted.
This video will answer these two questions as well:
1. Can a Christian fall away from the faith?
2. What does “house” refer to in Hebrews?

A Response to The Bible ProjectA Response to The Bible Project
Again, I really enjoy The Bible Project’s videos, but obviously, I disagree a bit.
The guy who heads up the Bible Project wrote this geeky book of Ezekiel. Check it out if you are good at Hebrew. I bought it, and enjoyed it:
Heres the other video that indicates people like the Bible Project actually teach a works-salvation:
Here is one of my favorite book’s of all time (It would disagree with the Bible Project though):
Here is a great and kind of easy read on the kingdom:
Philippians 2:12-13: Work out your salvation? (Animated: Cone vs. Piper)If you have never heard of Chris Cone, he is pretty rad!
Many know him more for Dispensationalism than Free Grace even though he is a board member on the Free Grace Alliance. I highly recommend his books and Bible College called Calvary.
I basically took Cone’s argument in his chapter on 21 tough questions about Grace (Great book by Grant Hawley btw), and then showed you how he and Piper differ in the way they interpret the verses. I like stuff like this, so I figured others do too. I want to know where people really differ and why. Lets get the bottom of what sets the theological groups apart. We can only do that by comparing actual interpretations and hermeneutics in my opinion!

Charles Ryrie - God's Amazing Free Grace (Animated)Many of the men who have greatly impacted me were greatly impacted by Ryrie.
Buy his book below. It's the best introduction to Free Grace.

The comparison of All Baptist Faith and Messages:
Southern Baptist I agree with. So this is my view, the Partaker’s view or it could be called Traditional Southern Baptist Soteriology.
David Allen - See Anyone can be saved Kindle location 1730 and his commentary on 1st-3rd John page 212.
Steve Gains - See Share Jesus Like It Matters on page 41
Charles Stanley - See the gift of forgiveness on page 51 and https://www.fba.org/main/statement-of-faith
These are the ones I disagree with only on this matter. They teach faith is a commitment or submission of our lives to Jesus in some way shape or form.
JD Greear - See Stop asking Jesus into your heart on page 39
David Platt - See Follow Me on Page 15 and especially page 75
Al Mohler - I could find no where where Mohler directly defines faith, but it is safe to say that he should be placed in this category and agrees with Kenneth Keathley in a Theology for the Church.
Danny Akin - Also, I could find no where where Akin directly defines faith, but it is safe to say that he should be placed in this category and agrees with Kenneth Keathley in a Theology for the Church.
WA Criswell - See Great Doctrines of the Bible, Vol. 5, Soteriology, 1985 edition on page 54. and https://www.wacriswell.com/sermons/1993/what-must-i-do-to-be-saved-2/? and https://www.wacriswell.com/sermons/1982/saving-faith-2/?keywords=saving+faith
Herschel Hobbs - See The Baptist Faith and Message, revised 1971 edition, on page 52
Ken Keathley - See A Theology of the church on page 576 and 581.
Tom Schriener - Even though he has written entire book entitled “faith alone,” I couldn’t find one place where he defines with faith is in detail, but I do know through personal communication that he at least approves of how John Piper defines faith which is that faith “is being satisfied with all that God is for us in Jesus.” This view is the strongest of the bunch when it all plays out mainly because of the word all. How do we know when we have been satisfied with ALL that God is for us? Does anyone even know every little thing that God is for us? Do they know the entire Bible basically?
In the middle/On the Fence
Matt Chandler- It’s hard to nail him down, but Chandler likely agrees with David Platt and JD Greear. Which isn’t a surprise. See The Explicit Gospel on page 70
Russel Moore - I really had no way of knowing where he stands, but on what I did read, he seems to lean this way. See here: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/can-explain-gospel-3-words/
Mark Dever - Dever is a little hard to place. Here is why. I never found a clear definition, but Dever does still use the 1925 Baptist Faith and Message for the salvation section in his statement of faith on his churches website. Also, I would have no problems saying what he said on page 43 of The Gospel and Personal Evangelism. My guess is though that if he was questioned, he would lean this way.
Thabiti Anyabwile - Chances are he leans this way.
The gospel for muslims pages 85- 86 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w79hiVcXSDc
Paige Patterson - Considering he was an editor for the The Believer’s Bible’s glossary section on the word faith, wrote the forward to Stop asking Jesus into your heat and the forwward to Ken Keathley’s Salvation off sevovernity, I’d place him leaning this way.
David Jeremiah - He is in the middle. See http://www.shadowmountain.org/default.aspx?page=3490 and https://davidjeremiah.blog/4-answers-to-your-questions-about-salvation/

Rick Warren - He is hard to figure out. I’d say he leans more my direction though. See The purpose driven life on page 60.
